Book a Candle Class

When you and your guests arrive at Marvelous Light Candle, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly Chandlers (candle makers) who will guide your group through candle pouring or fragrance product customization. Your Chandler will lead you through our Scent Library where we have over 40 scents to choose from. You will be guided through the mixology as you can blend up to two scents per candle! By the end of your visit, each person will leave with their very own personalized candle. 

Timing

The Candle Experience lasts 60 minutes. Guests arriving later than 15 minutes after their reserved time run the risk of losing their table and forfeiting their reservation with no refund.

Depending on the size of your vessel, candles may then take at least 60 - 90 minutes to cool before they are ready to take home. While you wait, feel free to shop around, take pictures, have some light refreshments and mingle with your party. 

Too long of a wait?  Well, we have several options available. We happen to be in the center of Downtown Orland Park, so feel free to leave and return before closing hours to explore the surrounding areas. We happen to be only 2 mins away from Orland Square Mall with a plethora of restaurants nearby. 

If you would like to choose to come back on a different day, feel free to do so. We will hold your candles up to 5 days from the day of your session.

Don't want to take that drive, we also ship! If you'd prefer your candles to be shipped to you after you make them, the cost is $10 per set of candles no matter the location.

A waiver must be completed prior to your session. Please feel free to fill it out online or arrive 10 mins prior to your sessions time slot.

Cost

The Marvelous Light Candle Experience price is based on the vessel of your chosen starting at $45(+) tax per person. If you'd like to leave a gratuity, one can be added to your bill at the end of the experience.

Are There Any Upgrades?

You will have the opportunity to add unscented molds and or flowers to decorate the tops of your candles. Please note this will be an additional charge to your final price of your candle. 

Cancellations: All cancellations must be made 48 hours before your appointment. If within 48 hours, appointments must be rescheduled for a later date. There is a No return policy after the 48 hours is up!

Age Requirements:

Due to safety measures, we recommend an age of 10 years or older to participate in the class. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian signature. To ensure everyone’s safety, we do not allow children under the age of 10 in the workshop area.

Light refreshments will be available for purchase while your candles are cooling. Candle making while eating a full meal does not mix well together so, please eat after or before the class begins.
